Columbia Parks and Recreation is holding a public input meeting regarding improvements at Clyde Wilson Memorial Park, 601 Rockhill Road. The drop-in meeting will be held at the Rollins Street entrance on the south side of the park from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 12.
Proposed improvements include beautification at all three park entry points on Rockhill Road, Rollins Street and Wilson Avenue. Plans would include park signs, bike racks and benches, as well as trail improvements and invasive species removal within the park.
Staff will be available at the public input meeting with proposed plans and will answer questions and take comments.
The project is budgeted at $50,000, to be funded by the 2015 voter-approved Park Sales Tax.
For more information, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 573-874-7460.
