Officers respond to domestic disturbance where shots were fired

(COLUMBIA, MO) - Shorty after 2 PM on Saturday, June 30, officers responded to a 9-1-1 call for shots fired on Forest Ave near Grand Ave. Officers arrived and found several shell casings and damage to a vehicle. 

Further investigation revealed that a domestic disturbance occurred and during the disturbance a male fired rounds from handgun into a vehicle where the female was sitting. The female was not injured and no other property damage or injuries resulted from the domestic disturbance. 

Columbia Police are looking for the suspect. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call Columbia Police at (573) 874-7652 or Crime Stoppers if they wish to remain anonymous.
