(COLUMBIA, MO) - The suspect sought in the shooting on June 27 in the 600 block of McBaine Avenue was arrested on June 28. Phillip Anthony Lawson, 31, was arrested on Kennedy Drive in Moberly, Missouri at 3:43 p.m. by the Moberly Police Department. A no bond warrant had been issued for Lawson for the following charges: 1st Degree Assault, Armed Criminal Action and Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
The arrest came after the Columbia Police Department Street Crimes Unit developed information that they passed to the Moberly Police Department.
