The City of Columbia Public Works Street Division is scheduled to repair curb and street sections on Elm Street beginning at Hitt Street and ending at Fifth Street. Work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, June 6 at 7 a.m. and end Monday, June 18 by 4 p.m.
During this project, there will be minimal lane closures while curb repairs are made to both sides of the street, namely between Hitt Street and Seventh Street. Traffic will still be able to pass through the area.
Repairs to the curb and street sections will make Elm Street easier to drive on and safer for pedestrians on the sidewalk.
