Law enforcement agencies are actively searching for Charles Tyrone Webb, 43, in relation to the homicide on Greeley Drive on May 3. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. The victim was previously identified as Robert Eugene Jennings, 43, of Columbia. Jennings was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead by medical personnel shortly after being transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital.
Due to the assistance and cooperation of members of the community the Columbia Police Department was able to obtain a warrant for the following charges: Murder in the Second Degree and Armed Criminal Action with a cash-only bond of $1,000,000. Webb should be considered armed and dangerous.
