Shots fired in the 400 block of Oak Street

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

A residence was struck by gunfire in the 400 block of Oak Street during the late night hours on Saturday, May 5.

Columbia Police officers were dispatched to the area at 10:46 p.m. after multiple reports of shots fired. Upon officers’ arrival, they located numerous shell casings in the roadway. At least one house was damaged by the gunfire. There were four occupants inside the residence at the time the shots were fired. There were no reported injuries. The investigation is on-going.
