Columbia Police officers responded to 505 E. Nifong Boulevard, Central Bank of Boone County, at 9:42 a.m. on Friday, April 27, in reference to a robbery.
The preliminary investigation revealed a male suspect entered the business, approached a teller, and demanded money. The suspect retrieved an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area on foot. There were no reported injuries or property damage.
A photo of the suspect was released on social media at approximately 10:45 a.m. The photo is also attached below. We’re asking the community be alert and contact the department immediately should they see the suspect. If anyone has any information on the identity of the suspect, they can also contact CPD at (573) 874-7652, or call CrimeStoppers at (573) 875-TIPS (8477) to remain anonymous.
