One person sustained a gunshot wound during an altercation in the parking lot of the Black and Gold Bar early Thursday morning.
Columbia Police officers responded to 2102 E. Business Loop 70, Black and Gold Bar, at 2:16 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, after a report of a physical disturbance with a weapon.
The preliminary investigation revealed an altercation occurred in the parking lot of the business between three male subjects. During the altercation, one male, 36, was struck by gunfire. The two other males then fled the area in a vehicle. Officers rendered first aid care to the gunshot wound victim prior to Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrival. The victim was then transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
