Shots fired in the 1500 block of Paris Road

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Police officers responded to the 1500 block of Paris Road at 1:15 a.m. Monday, April 16, after Boone County Joint Communications received multiple calls of shots heard in the area.  

Upon officers’ arrival, they located numerous shell casings near the street. Officers received additional information that a vehicle had been struck by the gunfire and was located near Noble Court and Worley Street. Officers located the vehicle and observed damage to the vehicle. The amount of damage is unknown at this time. There were no reported injuries. The investigation is on-going.
