Sidewalk closure scheduled for section of S. Fifth Street, Feb. 15

Beginning Thursday, Feb. 15, Grizzley Bear Lawncare, a private contractor for The U Centre on Turner, plans to perform maintenance on the area between 401 Turner Ave. and 601 Fifth St. This will result in sidewalk closure on the west side of south Fifth Street (between Conley Avenue and Turner Avenue). The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by 5 p.m. on the same day, weather permitting.

Motorists and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should find alternate routes when possible.
