Serious injury crash in the 3500 block of Weymeyer Drive

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

TYPE OF INCIDENT: Serious Injury Crash

LOCATION: 3501 Weymeyer Drive

DRIVER 1:     Dylan Ivan Bebeszko, 

                       Centralia, Missouri

                        Age: 22

                        Injuries: Life-threatening

                        Seatbelt: No

VEHICLE 1:     2017 Ford F-150 Supercrew

DETAILS OF INCIDENT:

The crash occurred as the Ford was traveling north on Brown Station Road between a private residence driveway and Weymeyer Drive. The Ford continued north on Brown Station with the passenger side tires in the snow covered ditch. As the Ford approached Weymeyer, the vehicle briefly went airborne, hit a stop sign, went into the yard of 3501 Weymeyer Drive and struck a tree.

The driver of the vehicle, Dylan Bebeszko, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Speed, alcohol and/or drugs are believed to be a factor in the cause of the crash. The investigation is on-going.
