Memorial and Candlelight Walk Planned for MLK Holiday

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Parks and Recreation will hold the 46th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Candlelight Walk and Memorial Celebration on Monday, Jan. 15.

The candlelight walk will start at 6:30 p.m. at the Armory Sports Center, 701 E. Ash. The walk will proceed to St. Paul A.M.E. Church, 501 Park Ave. for the memorial celebration. Participants will celebrate and reflect on the life and contributions of Dr. King. The program's theme will be "Where Do We Go From Here?"
