UPDATE DETAILS: Delayed to Jan. 22-23 due to weather.
Original Press Release (Jan. 2, 2018):
Beginning Thursday, Jan. 18, Ridenhour Directional Boring, a contractor for Sockett Telecom, plans to install fiber optic cable for 701 E. Broadway. This will result in closure of the alley located between Seventh and Eighth streets (south of Broadway). The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Jan. 19 by 7 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should find alternate routes.
