Columbia Police officers responded to 912 S. Providence Road, Delta Kappa Epsilon Greek Annex, at 9:51 p.m. today in reference to a home invasion.
The preliminary investigation revealed three suspects entered the residence through an unlocked door. There were two occupants (victims) inside the house at the time. The suspects brandished at least one firearm. One victim was forcefully struck by one of the suspects causing the victim to sustain injuries from the strike. The suspects retrieved property from the residence and proceeded to fire multiple rounds inside the home before fleeing. There were no reported injuries from the gunfire and the amount of property damage is unknown at this time.
The suspects are described as black males last seen wearing dark colored clothing. The investigation is on-going.
