Two people were transported to a local hospital after first responders located them with stab wounds in the 3700 block of Pimlico Drive.
Columbia Police officers were dispatched to the area at 8:46 p.m. today after Boone County Joint Communications received a call regarding a physical domestic with a weapon. The complainant reported two people had been stabbed.
Upon officers' arrival, they observed two subjects being transported by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to a local hospital for treatment of stab wounds. The extent of the subjects' injuries are unknown at the time of this release. Officers detained several people at the scene for questioning. They are still working to determine exactly what led up to the subjects receiving the stab wounds. Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division have also been called in to assist with this investigation. The Forensic Evidence Team (FET) is on-scene and will assist with evidence collection after the service of a search warrant on a home in the area. The investigation is on-going.
