Synopsis:
- The crash occurred as Vehicle 1, was traveling Eastbound on I-70 near the 127 mm. Eastbound I-70 traffic was stopped or at a stand still. Vehicle 1 struck vehicle 2 in the rear of the vehicle, causing vehicle 2 to strike Vehicle 3 (Dodge Truck). Driver 2, completed an evasive maneuver, which caused vehicle 2 to leave the roadway and came to rest in the ditch. Vehicle 1 continued eastbound on I-70 and struck vehicle 4 and both vehicles came to a stop, blocking both lanes of eastbound I-70.
