On 10/21/17 at 8:04 p.m., officers were dispatched to shots heard in the 200 block of Business Loop 70 E.
Officer arrived on scene and located several shell casings in the area of Austin and Grand Avenue and one vehicle damaged by gunfire.
At 8:39 p.m., Officers located a male victim with a gunshot wound in the 700 block of Sixth Street. The male victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The shots fired and the victim of the gunshot wound are related to each other.
At this time, I do not have the identity, age or condition of the victim. I do not have any suspect information. The investigation is ongoing.
