Columbia Police detectives have confirmed the subject located with a gunshot wound in the 1500 block of Rolling Rock Drive Saturday night has died.
The 20-year-old male was transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital Saturday night with life-threatening injuries after officers located him with a gunshot wound in the 1500 block of Rolling Rock Drive. The circumstances leading up to the male obtaining the gunshot wound are still unclear at this time. Columbia Police detectives are working this case as a death investigation. All steps reasonably possible to preserve the scene and evidence associated to this incident have been taken. Detectives will continue to follow-up with witnesses and investigate leads as they come in.
