Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 26 at 7 a.m., Little Dixie Construction, a contractor for the Daniel Boone Regional Library, plans to begin repairing sidewalks on the west side of Garth Avenue. This will result in a sidewalk closure on the west side of Garth south of Broadway. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Oct. 17, weather permitting.
Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when near the work zone and use an alternate route if possible.
Little Dixie Construction is a private contractor that applied for and received a work permit from the City of Columbia.
