Cook Concrete is working to repair temporary patches along the east side of Seventh Street near City Hall and in the middle of the Seventh and Broadway intersection, Aug. 28-29.
On Saturday, Ameren repaired a gas line which required some pavement removal. Cook plans to repair all of the pavement patches Monday and Tuesday. One patch is at the City Hall driveway exit for utility payments, but one lane at the drive-up window for utility payments will remain open.
The intersection work will result in the westbound left turn lane from Broadway to South Seventh Street being closed early Monday and perhaps through Tuesday. The left turn lane from Seventh onto East Broadway is also restricted.
Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation are urged to use caution in the work zone. Minor delays are possible, please consider using an alternate route.
