Columbia Police detectives are asking for the community's assistance in locating Deangelo Montrez Butler, 27, of Columbia. Butler has been identified as the possible suspect in today's shooting in the 1700 block of Stanford. Butler also has several outstanding warrants for his arrest in multiple jurisdictions to include:
- Felony Warrant for Probation Violation with an original offense of Assault with a bond of $20,000.00,
- Felony Warrant for Probation Violation with an original offense of Stolen Property with a bond of $20,000.00,
- Felony Warrant for Failure to Appear with an original offense of Traffic Offense with a bond of $10,000.00,
- Felony Warrant for Traffic Offense with a bond of $5,000.00,
- Felony Warrant for Traffic Offense with a bond of $4,500.00,
- Multiple Misdemeanor Warrants.
Butler should be considered armed and dangerous. Citizens should not approach Butler, but contact local law enforcement immediately by dialing 911.
