The City of Columbia Public Works Department has scheduled an informal open house meeting concerning the construction of a sidewalk on Carter Lane (Huntridge Drive to Foxfire Drive). This interested parties meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 6 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in conference room 1A at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.
The meeting is part of the City of Columbia's routine public involvement process. The purpose of this meeting is to present information and diagrams showing preliminary design concepts and to gather community input. Comment forms will be available to collect feedback, and City engineering staff will be on hand to answer questions.
Construction of this improvement project is currently planned for 2018, subject to the City's public involvement process and City Council action. Diagrams of the proposed improvements can be found on the City's website at Como.gov/PublicWorks/Carter-sidewalk.
