CPD to host 2nd Community BBQ for East Neighborhood

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

This Saturday, August 12, the Columbia Police Department, along with Columbia Parks and Recreation, will host a Neighborhood Barbecue for the East Strategic Plan Neighborhood. The event will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Indian Hills Park located at 5009 Aztec Boulevard.

This is the second year officers from the Community Outreach Unit and staff from Columbia Parks and Recreation have worked together to organize this event for residents in the neighborhood. Families can come enjoy good food and great camaraderie! Wacky water games for the kids will begin at 3:00 p.m. and is being provided by Columbia Parks and Recreation.

We look forward to networking with residents and working together to build a stronger community!
