Armed robbery at Subway on Paris Road

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Police officers responded to 2716 Paris Road, Subway Restaurant, at 8:09 a.m. today in reference to a robbery with a weapon.

The preliminary investigation revealed a female suspect entered the business armed with a weapon and demanded money. The suspect retrieved an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the area. Upon officers' arrival, a K-9 track was conducted, however, the suspect was not located. There were no reported injuries or property damage as a result of this incident.

The suspect is described as a black female approximately 30 years old and approximately 5'6" tall. She was described as being a medium weight and an average build. The suspect was last seen wearing jean shorts and a black shirt. The investigation is on-going.
