On 5/26/17 at 11:45 p.m., a robbery occurred in the 5000 block of Bethel Street. James C. Yearwood was arrested for that robbery on 5/27/17 at 12:15 a.m. for Armed Criminal Action and Robbery in the First Degree. A female juvenile, age 16, was taken into custody for that robbery on 5/27/17 at 12:18 a.m. for Robbery in the First Degree and released to the Juvenile Office.
During the above investigation, officers received information that Yearwood and the juvenile female were involved in the Clover's Natural Market robbery. Detectives were aware a red minivan was the suspect vehicle in that robbery.
On 6/1/17 at 8:00 a.m., detectives arrested James C. Yearwood, age 18, from Columbia, for Armed Criminal Action and Robbery in the First Degree at the Boone County Jail.
On 6/1/17 at 10:00 a.m., detectives took the female juvenile, age 16, from Columbia, into custody for Robbery in the First Degree and released her to the Juvenile Office.
