Columbia Police officers responded to 1102 Business Loop 70 East, Mid American Title Loans, at 12:57 a.m. today in reference to shots fired.
The preliminary investigation revealed a large crowd was gathered at 1205 Rangeline Street, The Soul Spot. Subjects attending this gathering parked in the parking lot of Mid American Title Loans. A verbal altercation ensued between subjects of the business and those attending the gathering. During the altercation, shots were fired, striking one vehicle in the area. There were no reported injuries as a result of the fired rounds. The investigation is on-going.
