Beginning Monday, May 15, at 7 a.m., Sterling Excavation, a subcontractor for the University of Missouri, is planning to repair/reconstruct deteriorated steam manholes on Rollins Street, weather permitting. This will result in a closure on Rollins between Hitt Street and Virginia Avenue. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Friday, Aug. 11, weather permitting.
Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use alternate routes whenever possible.
