Vandiver-Parker Roundabout public meeting scheduled for May 10

Columbia Public Works plans to host an open-house style Interested Parties meeting concerning the Vandiver Drive and Parker Street Roundabout Project on Wednesday, May 10. The meeting is scheduled to take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Blue Ridge Elementary School gym, located at 3700 Woodland Dr.

The purpose of this public meeting is to present design concepts for the proposed project which includes construction of a single-lane roundabout at the existing Vandiver and Parker intersection. Construction is currently scheduled to occur in 2019.

Information and diagrams showing preliminary design concept will be available for public review, and City engineering staff will be present to answer questions. A Public Comment Form also will be available and input will be considered as the design is developed.
