Sidewalk closure on Eighth Street scheduled for April 19-May 3

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Beginning Wednesday, April 19, at 7 a.m., Reinhardt Construction plans to begin removing and replacing sidewalk for Columbia College, weather permitting. This will result in sidewalk closure along Eighth Street between Rogers Street and the Robnett Spence Building. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 3, weather permitting.

Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution around the work zone.

Reinhardt Construction is a private contractor with a work permit from the City of Columbia.
