Beginning Monday, April 3, at 8 a.m., Ridenhour Directional Drilling plans to complete borings for Socket Telecom, LLC. This will result in sidewalk closures along Ninth Street and Walnut Street. There will be 6 phases of closure. Each phase will be completed in approximately 2 days or less. The closures will start near 217 N. Ninth Street and end near 814 E. Walnut Street. The work associated with the closures is scheduled to be completed Friday, April 28, at 5 p.m.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
Ridenhour Directional Drilling is a private contractor with a permit from the City of Columbia.
