On 3/26/17 at 1:58 a.m., officers were dispatched to a shots fired on the parking lot of the Eagle Stop located at 1704 N. Providence Road.
The investigation revealed witnesses saw Marc Ballinger standing on the parking lot of I-70 Eagle Stop Gas Station in an argument with an adult male. During the argument, Ballinger was seen pointing a handgun at the male he was arguing with on the lot. Witnesses said Ballinger took off running towards the back of the gas station and witnesses heard two shots fired.
Officers arrested Marc Raydale Ballinger Jr., age 25, from Columbia, at 2:00 a.m. for Unlawful Use of a Weapon Felony on the lot of the I-70 Eagle Stop.
