Street closure scheduled on South Fifth Street, March 27-28

Beginning Monday, March 27, at 8 a.m., private contractor Origin Constructors/Columbia Engineering Group plans to begin installing a new sewer lateral for a new building at 525 Elm Street. This would result in a street closure of South Fifth Street between Elm and Locust. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by 5 p.m. on March 28.

Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use alternate routes whenever possible.
