Lane closure scheduled on Laurel Drive, March 27-28

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Beginning Monday, March 27 at 7 a.m., private contractor NW Industries plans to remove and replace a sewer lateral on Laurel Drive, weather permitting.  This will result in a lane closure on Laurel Drive between South Fairview Meadows Road and Summit Road near 610 Laurel Dr. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by 7 p.m., March 28, weather permitting.

Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use alternate routes whenever possible.

NW Industries, LLC is a private contractor with a work permit from the City of Columbia.
