As the community welcomes residents and visitors for the True/ False Film Festival March 2- 5, City of Columbia officials want participants to be aware of parking and transportation information.
The City's public transit system, COMO Connect, will offer free public transportation to and from the event. COMO Connect will provide free rides on all of the bus system's fixed routes for the entire city Thursday through Saturday, including an additional festival route with extended hours and additional stops near venue locations (map attached below). All COMO Connect routes are ADA accessible.
COMO Connect fixed routes begin at 6:25 a.m. and end at 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday. Saturday routes begin at 10 a.m. and end at 8 p.m. There will be a special route called the True/False Loop that will operate from 9 a.m. until 1:30 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The special True/False Loop will be the only route in service on Sunday.
Free routes apply to all customers on the fixed bus routes during the festival. No special pass or ticket is required to board for free. For maps, live bus tracking and more information on bus routes, visit www.COMOConnect.org or download the free app on your smartphone, search COMO Connect.
Parking will be enforced as usual during the festival. Enforcement hours are as follows:
- Downtown parking garages are free after 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and are not enforced on Saturday and Sunday.
- On-street parking is enforced between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and is not enforced on Sunday.
- Downtown City parking lots are enforced between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and are not enforced on Saturday or Sunday.
For parking enforcement information, visit www.CoMo.gov/publicworks/parking.
Due to art installations on Ninth Street, the block between Elm and Locust will be closed to traffic throughout the duration of the festival.
