[CORRECTION] Street closure on Bouchelle Avenue planned for Feb. 20-24

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Beginning Monday, Feb. 20, at 7 a.m., Jeff Schnieders Construction Co. plans to begin installing a new water line connection on Bouchelle Avenue, weather permitting.  This will result in a street closure on Bouchelle Avenue between College Avenue and Lee Street near 710 S. College Ave.  The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24, weather permitting.

Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution around the work zone and use an alternate route.

Jeff Schnieders Construction Co. is a private contractor.

CORRECTION DETAILS: Although the attached location map was correct, the original release (Feb. 17) incorrectly stated that this work would result in a street closure on Bouchelle Avenue between College Avenue and S William Street near 710 S. College Ave. We apologize for the confusion.
