Beginning Thursday, Jan. 26, at 8 a.m., Bee Seen Signs plans to begin removing Christmas Lights at Central Bank of Boone County. This will result in a sidewalk closure on the west side of Eighth Street (between Broadway and Cherry) and on Broadway (between Eighth and Seventh) near 720 E. Broadway. The work associated with the closure should be completed by Thursday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians should use caution in and around the work area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
Bee Seen Signs is a private contractor with a permit approved by the City of Columbia.
