UPDATE: BANK ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

On 1/18/17 at 11:49 a.m., Columbia Police officers arrested Carl Lovell Wade in the 2200 block of Paris Road for the bank Robbery at First State Community Bank located at 3200 Golden Bear Drive.

The investigation revealed, Wade took a taxi to First State Community Bank.  Wade entered the bank, handed the teller a note which demanded cash and implied he had a weapon. Wade left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money in the same taxi cab.

Officers contacted the taxi cab company who gave the location of where they dropped off their last fare. Officers located Wade and found cash on him from the bank robbery and the bank robbery note in a trash can near him.

Carl Lovell Wade, age 51, from Columbia, Missouri was arrested for Robbery in the First Degree with a to be set bond. Wade was transported and released to the Boone County Jail.
