The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced on Thursday that lane restrictions are rescheduled on Forum Boulevard for Jan. 3-6, weather permitting. The lane restrictions on Forum Boulevard are scheduled to occur near Hinkson Creek Bridge and the entrance of Wilson's Total Fitness. These lane restrictions are necessary for S.P.E Inc. to install a trail connector on Forum Boulevard.
Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
Update Details: Work was delayed due to extremely cold temperatures and is currently rescheduled to start January 3, 2017, weather permitting.
