Sidewalk closure, lane restrictions on N. 10th Street, between Ash and Walnut, scheduled for Jan. 3-4

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 3 at 8 a.m., private contractor Grove Construction plans to begin installing lighted artwork for the Downtown Columbia Improvement District (CID), weather permitting.  This will result in a sidewalk closure and lane restrictions on N. 10th Street between Ash Street and Walnut Street near 129 N. 10th St.  The work associated with the closure and restrictions is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, Jan. 4 at 3 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians should use caution in and around the work area and find alternate routes if possible.

Grove Construction has a work permit from the City of Columbia.
