Closure on Sixth Street, between Elm and Lancaster, scheduled for Dec. 22-23

Beginning Thursday, Dec. 22, at 8 a.m., private contractor Origin Constructors/Columbia Engineering Group plans to perform a water tap on South Sixth Street. This will result in a street closure between Elm Street and Lancaster Drive near 525 Elm St.  The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed Friday, Dec. 23, by 5 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians should use caution in and around the work area and find alternate routes.

Origin Constructors/Columbia Engineering Group is a private contractor with a work permit approved by the City.
