[Update] Lane, sidewalk closures scheduled for Richmond Avenue Jan. 3-6

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Update Details: The date of the closure has been rescheduled from Dec. 5-9 to Jan. 3-6, weather permitting.

Lane, sidewalk closures rescheduled for Richmond Avenue Dec. 5-9

Beginning Monday, December 5, at 8 a.m., Jeff Schnieders Construction Co. plans to begin removing and replacing a water service near 912 Richmond Ave, weather permitting. This would result in a lane and sidewalk closure on Richmond Avenue between Kentucky Boulevard and Rollins Street. The work associated with the closures is scheduled to be completed by Friday, Dec.9, at 4 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians should exercise caution when traveling through this area.

Jeff Schnieders Construction Co. is a private contractor that has applied for and received a work permit from the City of Columbia.
