The City of Columbia Community Development Department announced on Friday that Bee Seen Signs plans to hang Christmas Lights at Central Bank of Boone County on Wednesday, Nov. 16, weather permitting. This will result in a sidewalk closure on the west side of Eighth Street, between Broadway and Cherry Street, and on the south side of Broadway, between Eighth Street and Seventh Street, near 720 East Broadway.
Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible.
Bee Seen Signs is a private contractor working for the Central Bank of Boone County.
