The Columbia Public Works Department announced on Thursday that River City Construction plans to perform work at 501 Kentucky Blvd. which will result in a temporary sidewalk closure and lane restriction with flaggers.
Starting at 8 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 12, River City Construction plans to use a crane and truss trailer to facilitate the construction of the Dobbs Group residence hall and dining facility located at 501 Kentucky Blvd. for the University of Missouri. Work is scheduled to be completed by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16.
River City Construction is a private contractor that applied for and received a construction permit from the City of Columbia.
