Columbia Parks and Recreation is offering the chance for the public to provide input on the second phase of development of Norma Sutherland Smith Park, 3350 Waco Rd.
A drop-in meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on September 8 at Alpha Hart Lewis Elementary School, 5801 Arbor Pointe Parkway.
The second phase may feature park amenities including a playground, basketball court, baseball field and lake trail. Interested parties may comment on the plans; staff will be available to answer questions.
The project will be funded by the Park Sales Tax, approved by voters in November 2015.
For more information, contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 573-874-7460.
