Public Input Meeting Set for Norma Sutherland Smith Park

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Parks and Recreation is offering the chance for the public to provide input on the second phase of development of Norma Sutherland Smith Park, 3350 Waco Rd.

                                  

A drop-in meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on September 8 at Alpha Hart Lewis Elementary School, 5801 Arbor Pointe Parkway.

The second phase may feature park amenities including a playground, basketball court, baseball field and lake trail. Interested parties may comment on the plans; staff will be available to answer questions.

The project will be funded by the Park Sales Tax, approved by voters in November 2015.
