Two Incidents Overnight

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

                                                          TWO INCIDENTS OVERNIGHT

                                                                         

On 8/28/16 at 1:10 a.m., officers were flagged down by four females at Hitt Street and Broadway. The females reported a male known to them pulled out a gun and pointed it at them during an argument.  The victims said they left the area and went to a residence in the 1400 block of Bodie Drive. The victims said while they were standing next to a vehicle outside a residence, three black males began shooting at them. The victims ran inside the residence and were not injured. Officers arrived on scene and did not locate the suspects. Officers did not locate any shell casings at the scene but officers did locate two bullet holes in one of the victim's vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

 On 8/28/16 at 2:29 a.m., officers were dispatched to reports of shots fired in the 2000 block of Whispering Meadows Court. Officers arrived on the scene and located multiple shell casings and three bullet holes in a vacant duplex at 2002 Whispering Meadows. A witness described seeing two black males running from the area. There is no further suspect information and no arrests have been made. There were no reports of injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
