The Columbia Public Works Department announced on Friday that chip and seal operations will continue July 18-22 on the following City streets:
Monday, July 18
West Ash Street (West Boulevard to Clinkscales Road)
Lincoln Drive (McBaine Avenue to Oak Street)
Parkside Drive (Creasy Springs Road to Schwabe Lane)
Tuesday, July 19
Sylvan Lane (Clark Lane to Vandiver Drive)
Colonial Court (White Gate Drive to north end)
Meadowvale Court (Rice Road to south end)
Wednesday, July 20
Amelia Street (North William Street to Old 63 North)
Stone Street (Lakeview Avenue to north end)
Leslie Lane (Parkade Boulevard to George Court)
Craig Street (North Garth Avenue to East Thurman Street)
North Garth Court (North Garth Avenue to east end)
Thursday, July 21
Oakfield Drive (Oakland Gravel Road to Oakmeadows Drive)
Oakmeadows Drive (Oakland Gravel Road to Oakfield Drive)

This is a tentative working schedule based on best available information at the time of publishing. Work schedules are subject to change due to weather or other factors. All of the previously announced streets were completed July 5-15 except for West Ash Street. (See previous press releases below for details of finished streets.)
Motorists and nonmotorized transportation users can expect minor delays and should follow the instructions of flaggers and no parking signs posted in the area. In most cases, City crews plan to work on one side of the street at a time to allow for through traffic when possible. However, no parking will be permitted on the street while work is being done. Violators may be ticketed and towed.
