The City of Columbia Public Works Department announced Wednesday that beginning Monday, July 18, at 7 a.m., Brinkmann Constructors plans to install sanitary and storm sewer relating to the construction of the Rise Apartments at 131 S. 10th St. This will result in a closure of the intersection at Ninth and Locust streets. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Friday, July 22, at 6 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone and use alternate routes whenever possible.
