The City of Columbia Public Works Department has scheduled an open house informational meeting concerning traffic issues on Rice Road and Kelsey Drive.
"Rice Road and Kelsey Drive have been identified as streets with traffic operating speeds higher than desirable speeds," said Project Engineer Lee White.
This informal, one-hour meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, at the Hanover Clubhouse, 1601 Hanover Boulevard Building 7, in Columbia.
The purpose of the meeting is to review potential solutions as well as:
- Define and prioritize problems
- Identify desired outcomes
- Provide an overview of the Neighborhood Traffic Management Program
"Information and diagrams showing some preliminary concepts will be available for public review, and City engineering staff will be present to answer questions," said White. "A public comment form will be available and comments will be considered as a proposal is developed."
