Registration for the Douglass Bulldogs Baseball League will end on Friday, May 20. The league is for boys and girls ages 5-10 and is intended to teach kids basic baseball skills in a fun, non-competitive environment.
League play will begin the week of June 6, with games played at Douglass Park, 400 N Providence Road. The registration cost per child is $32.
Registration forms are available online at www.CoMo.gov, at Columbia Parks and Recreation, 1 South Seventh St. or the Armory Sports Center, 701 E. Ash St. Registration forms should be returned to either of these locations or mailed to Douglass Athletic Association, P.O. Box 7296, Columbia, MO 65205.
Volunteer coaches and umpires are needed. Also, sponsoring opportunities are available starting at $50. League sponsors help cover some league costs, enabling youth to have a safe and fun place to play this summer.
