On 3/1/16 at 11:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Elm Grove Drive in reference to a robbery with a gun.
The preliminary investigation revealed a male victim, 23, and a one-year-old juvenile were outside a residence in the area when a male suspect armed with a handgun approached the victims. The suspect demanded money and retrieved an undisclosed amount of money from the victim before fleeing the area on foot. There were no reported injuries or property damage from the incident.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early to mid-'s, approximately 6' tall with a thin build. The investigation is on-going.
